While Shadows are tall

At the end of the day

I anticipate the sunset

That's coming my way

The moon in it's glory

So high in the sky

Will shine for me only

And I'll smile, with a sigh

With stars shinning brightly

Surrounding the moon

I'll look for Orion

And strum out a tune

For when shadows are gone

I'm at my best

Another day is ended

It is now time to rest

But morning awakens

My soul, a new day

Willing and eager

I'm soon on my way

The warmth of the sunshine

My heart beating fast

I look to the Heavens

And find peace, at last

For daylight awakens

A yearning in me

I strive to fulfill

All I plan to see

For when shadows are tall

And daylight is gone

Things left undone

Are tomorrow's song

Yes, when shadows are tall

At the end of the day

I anticipate tomorrow

And what's coming my way
